Presentation
A clear pale pink liquid for oral administration containing 0.8 ml/ml Propylene Glycol BP.
 
Uses
As an aid in the treatment of acetonaemia in cattle, and pregnancy toxaemia in sheep.
 
Dosage and administration
Ketol may be administered in the drinking water, as a drench or on the feed.

Cattle
First day 225 ml (8 fl oz) morning and evening. Next three days 115 ml (4 fl oz) morning and evening.
Sheep
115 ml (4 fl oz) daily for several days.
 
Contra-indications, warnings, etc
For oral administration only.
Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.
In case of accidental eye contact, wash eyes with plenty of clean water.
If irritation occurs, seek medical attention. In case of contact with skin, remove any contaminated clothing and wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation occurs seek medical advice.
Ingestion: If accidentally swallowed seek medical advice. Wash hands after use.
 
Withdrawal periods
Meat: Zero days. Milk: Zero hours.
For animal treatment only. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
 
Pharmaceutical precautions
Do not store above 25°C. Protect from light. Rinse containers thoroughly with water. Dispose of rinsings in slurry or dirty water. Dispose of rinsed containers in the farm refuse. Used containers should not be recycled.
