Further information

Fenbendazole belongs to the benzimidazole (1-BZ) class of anthelmintics.

This product contains considerably larger amounts of Cobalt and Selenium than contained in existing mineralised formulations of Panacur. This should be taken into consideration when deciding on frequency of treatment. The product should only be used in areas where deficiencies of cobalt and selenium are likely to occur. If in doubt, consult your Veterinary Surgeon for advice.

Administration of ionophores to lambs has been shown to enhance selenium bioavailability. Concurrent administration of ionophores and Panacur SC 5% Suspension may therefore lead to an increased risk of selenium toxicity. The selenium status of sheep being administered ionophores should be measured prior to treatment with this product. Not recommended for treatment of species other than sheep and cattle.
