Infectious Bronchitis continues to be a major problem for poultry producers being associated with mis-shapen eggs, blind layers, and wet litter, and Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health have been working with X-Ovo (www.X-ovo.com) to identify and map the virus strains present in UK flocks.
Work done by Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health over several years has shown that vaccinating birds with NobilisTM Ma5 followed by NobilisTM IB 4-91 provides cross protection against many other genetically-unrelated strains of infectious bronchitis including QX.
