PD Monitor has been launched. Following on from the success of Slice Monitor, PD Monitor aims to provide an integrated service to customers and users of Norvax® Compact PD. Pancreas Disease continues to cause production losses and mortality in the UK salmon industry and PD Monitor helps to monitor the efficacy of Compact PD and provides information to ensure best practice. Vaccination of fish is audited and disease monitoring is carried out through the production cycle.
Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health works together with producers and veterinarians to determine future Pancreas Disease control strategies.
