In December 2010 Intervet/Schering-Plough UK Aqua team lauched a photography competition, with two prizes of a workshop with Philip Dunn, a professional photographer based in Kirkcudbright. The Slice Monitor Photography Competition coinciding with the launch of Slice® Monitor, a programme to help vets and producers get the best from Slice.
There were some stunning entries for the photography Competition, which was judged at the end of 2010. The winner was Alan Dykes, who submitted a beautiful photograph of a dolphin swimming up a loch, and the runner up was Carol Small with a great photo of salmon being fed. The entries illustrated many different aspects of fish farming, from the people involved to the environment of the farms.
