Cosequin Small Animal
What is Cosequin Small Animal?
A nutraceutical used to support the health and function of joints in cats and dogs. It contains a unique formulation of 99% purity Glucosamine Hydrochloride FCHG49, 100% purity Chondroitin Sulphate TRH122 and Manganese Sulphate.
How is it used?
Appropriate for all cats and dogs with joints that have increased supportive requirements – including use as adjunct to medical therapy (e.g. NSAIDs), sole joint support or prophylactic measure before joint disease seen. Such animals may include older animals, active or working animals and those with a history of joint trauma/surgery. Cosequin Cat can also be used to assist maintenance of bladder health as adjunct to medical management of FIC (feline idiopathic cystitis).

After loading period you can reduce to maintenance levels – usually reduce to half of loading amount and then decrease by half tablet per week to the lowest effective level depending on response. Small cats may be maintained on every other day administration to avoid capsule splitting.
