Invoices and statements

Every time you place an order you will be invoiced directly by MSD Animal Health, with any relevant discounts applied at the point of purchase.

When are the invoices issued?

Every time you place an order for MSD Animal Health products with one of our distribution partners, MWI or NVS, you will receive an invoice from MSD Animal Health for that order within 48 hours. You do not need to pay them individually. You will receive a monthly statement which provides a summary of your invoices for the month.

Orders placed on our e2e platform will be invoiced upon dispatch.

What information will be on the monthly statement?

The monthly statement will list the invoices issued against every order you placed, with a summary of payment due at the time. The statement will not contain any product information. You can expect your statement to arrive via email around the 5th of each month.

How do I set up a direct debit?

It’s simple and convenient to set up direct debit to make payments to MSD Animal Health. Over 500 customers have already set this up because:

  • Safe and secure
  • Easy to set up and it simplifies the payment process.
  • Payments are automated, eliminating the need to make manual payments from your bank account.
  • You will receive notifications of payment before funds are taken.
  • You will no longer need to send remittance advice indicating which invoices have been paid – we debit the exact amount owing, linked to individual invoices.

Simply complete the direct debit mandate and return it either via email (srvmaxx@msd.com) or post (MSD Animal Health, Building 20, Walton Manor, MK7 7AJ). Please ensure it has been signed by an authorised signatory for bank account used.

MSD Animal Health is part of the direct debit guarantee scheme.

When will the direct debit be collected?

Your monthly payment will be collected on the last working day of each month. This can vary due to bank holidays and public holidays.

How can I change the email address where invoices are sent?

Invoices are emailed to the address you provided on your sign-up form. If you want to change this email address, please email srvmaxx@msd.com with your request.

Who can I contact to change my bank details?

Please email srvmaxx@msd.com who will ask you to complete and return a bank details form.

How can I identify which invoice correlates to the delivery received by the distribution partner?

You can use your own reference or purchase order (PO) number when you order or correlate against the distribution partner order or invoice number, which will be in the PO number field on the MSD Animal Health invoice.

What happens if my payment is overdue?

MSD Animal Health reviews a report of overdue payments every month and our finance team will follow up with a statement reminding you of the overdue payment.

How are individual branches invoiced?

Your account with MSD Animal Health can be set up to receive invoices at branch or business level. If you are part of a buying group or corporate there may be some differences to how you are invoiced. You should contact your corporate or buying group administrators for specific details.

Will the monthly statement show VAT?

Your MSD Animal Health statement includes details of all open invoices and shows the invoice net value, VAT and total for each invoice. The statement does not include individual product purchases, detailed product information including discounts are shown on your invoice instead. Totals are calculated for all open invoices at the bottom of the statement including total net value, total VAT and total including VAT.
