The SenseHub Dairy Ecosystem is evolving to deliver even greater automation and insights with the addition of new hardware and extended system capabilities. The current version incorporates behaviour monitoring with milk monitoring and smart automation technologies, turning SenseHub into a modular ecosystem with the flexibility you need to effectively monitor your dairy animals across the production cycle.

Increased scalability
- Additional hardware and enhanced software capabilities to cater for greater capacity of animals and events in the SenseHub Dairy system.
- Increased capacity from 5,000 to 15,000 animals.
3rd Party LED Task Management
- Now, you can utilise the LED functionality of the SenseHub Dairy Behaviour Monitoring Ear Tag through third party herd management software. Speak to your local SenseHub Dairy representative to learn more.
Heat Report Masked by Group Activity
- Now, enhanced functionality of SenseHub Dairy Behaviour Monitoring means that you can focus your system around those animals that are truly in heat and block the abnormal group activity.
Batch Group Entry
- Report customisable events for individual and multiple animals or by preselected groups for a more seamless SenseHub Dairy experience.
- Customisable events means you can now enter treatment information by animal or group, supporting your connection to your animals.

2023
Milk Monitoring
The SenseHub Dairy capabilities launched in 2023 further demonstrated ongoing innovation with SenseHub Dairy Ecosystem. The integration of the Milk Monitoring In-Line Milk Plus Sensor and In-Line SCC Sensor allowed milk monitoring data to be connected with Behaviour Monitoring insights in one seamless platform.
Two new applications (Essential & Lifetime) were also launched, giving farmers greater flexibility to customize the SenseHub Dairy Ecosystem to the specific needs of their farms.
2022
Customisable Reports
The SenseHub Dairy capabilities launched in 2022 enabled customers to gain easier access to insights that reveal a more efficient, productive, and profitable farm. Releases consisted of SenseHub Discover and Report Generator as well as enabling battery alerts for the Monitoring Ear Tag.
The launch of the SenseHub In-Line SCC Sensor also provided automated somatic cell counts for individual cows at the milking point.
1976-2021
Legacy
The SenseHub journey began in 1976 with SCR, a pioneer in advanced dairy technology. Over decades, SCR introduced innovations like electro-mechanical pulsators, DataFlow software, and the world-renowned Heatime system for heat detection. Heatime later evolved into SenseTime when Allflex acquired SCR in 2014 to provide heat detection and health insights.
In 2019, Allflex was acquired by MSD Animal Health, and SenseTime was upgraded to SenseHub to also include group monitoring and a new user interface.
