Vaccination can help protect horses from common viral and bacterial diseases including Equine Influenza (‘Flu’) and tetanus. During 2019 there was a UK wide outbreak of equine ‘flu’, reminding us of the importance of vaccination and biosecurity in helping to protect our horses. Please discuss your horse’s vaccination schedule with your veterinary surgeon.

Further information on horse vaccines can be found on Keeping Britain’s Horses Healthy.

Animal medicines should always be used responsibly. For more information on responsible use please visit the NOAH pages on this topic.
